Yes, permanent stickers can be removed. Although it’s much more difficult than removing removable stickers, you can still gradually remove them by applying heat. Here’s how to do it:
- Use a hair dryer or heat gun to slowly heat one edge of the sticker, softening the outer edge gradually.
- Then, peel the sticker up from the softened section with your fingers, continuing to heat as you peel. You’ll eventually be able to remove the entire sticker.
- The peeled area will leave behind a lot of adhesive. Please use alcohol or an adhesive remover to remove the residue.
Heating softens the adhesive, which significantly reduces the risk of permanent adhesive damaging the surface.
