Do Car Magnets Ruin Paint?

1. Choose black car magnets, please hurry to choose the red homosexual magnets, red homosexual magnets are only suitable indoors, not good for outdoors, will be easy to fall off or melting sticks to the car will damage the car paint.

   

2. A car magnet is a harder and thicker car sticker, only suitable for flat or small arc surfaces, to avoid apply on the large curvature part or grooved surfaces, to prevent area reduction, magnetic adsorption reduced, and fall off in the wind or high-speed driving process.
3. Be sure to clean the sticking area before sticking the car magnet, do not leave dust or debris, long time will scratch the car paint surface or leave a convex mark, the car magnet will therefore also be convex, affecting the appearance and reducing the magnetic adsorption.
4. Car magnet is not suitable for long-term sticking on the surface of the vehicle, high temperature (higher than 80 degrees) or low temperature (0 to -20 degrees) car magnet magnetic will decline, if the temperature is lower than -20 degrees, the car magnet may completely harden iron lose elasticity, and can not be tightly adhered to the surface of the car, so it is recommended to remove and clean it at least once a week, and it is best to take it off and store it at home in high temperature or low temperature.

   

5. 6. When not in use, car magnets need to be properly stored and attention should be paid to maintaining their magnetism, because the magnetism of magnets will weaken over time, environment or placement. In severe cases, the magnetism may disappear. Therefore, it is very important to preserve car magnets. Do not expose them to sunlight, high humidity or heat sources, as this will cause irreversible magnetic deterioration. Please do not stack magnets arbitrarily (especially isotropic magnets), as this will cause magnetic field interference, some areas will self-demagnetize or magnetic short circuit. Finally, keep the magnetic surfaces facing each other when storing, or separate them with paper or dust bags. It is best to seal unused car magnets with OPP plastic bags for storage. Exposed magnets are prone to absorb dust, impurities or other things, which are not easy to clean, and can easily scratch the car paint when applied on car surface.
