- Different Container Decals and Marks
Shipping container decals are specialized identification labels affixed to various locations inside and outside shipping containers. They primarily provide critical information, technical specifications, warning notices, and compliance certifications to facilitate rapid identification, safe and proper handling, and compliant, seamless transportation operations within the global logistics network.
Container decals differ from standard indoor or outdoor stickers due to prolonged exposure to harsh conditions like extreme temperatures, rain, strong winds, saltwater, and chemicals. They must be made from high-quality cast-grade materials (3M) or cast-grade materials with 3M reflective properties. Since container surfaces are not perfectly flat, stickers covering large areas are best suited for materials featuring air-release channels.
- Face Material : 3M White PVC (Opaque)
- Back Material : White
- Adhesive : Permanent or Removable
- Face Material Thickness : 0.1 mm
- Back Material Thickness: 0.16 mm

- Determine the surface where the container decals will be applied.
- Clean the surface to ensure it is free from dust, grease, and other impurities, keeping it clean.
- Lightly spray the surface with soapy water.
- Peel off the backing of the sticker and apply it to the area sprayed with soapy water.
- Use a squeegee or credit card to press from one side of the sticker to the other, squeezing out all the water and air bubbles underneath.
- Check if the decals is correctly positioned. If not, it can be easily adjusted since there is water underneath.
- After applying the decals, avoid using the container temporarily. Wait until the water underneath the decals has completely dried before driving.

Container Decals Printing
Container markings differ from other car stickers in that they must withstand extreme temperatures, saltwater, and chemicals. Conventional inkjet printing cannot meet these requirements; weather-resistant screen printing is essential. We use 350-420 mesh 75-80 thread mesh to print various color gradient effects and custom PANTONE spot colors. High-precision screen printing ensures shipping container markings are free of frayed edges, feature vibrant hues, and maintain color saturation. They offer waterproof and UV-resistant performance lasting 3-5 years.
